Gray & Adams Announces Take Over of Brycol Mon, 5 Jul 2010

As of 1st July 2010, leading trailer and body manufacturer, Gray & Adams Ltd., has become the new owner of Brycol Ltd., a commercial vehicle repair facility based in Wilstead Industrial Park, Bedford. The company will be renamed Gray & Adams (Bedford) Limited and will compliment the existing group of four Gray & Adams sites across the UK and Ireland.

Brycol is a well established business that specialises in the repair and refurbishment of commercial vehicles of all makes and types. Based in the south east of England, it is very well placed to supplement existing Gray & Adams sites and to enhance the service and support given to the company's increasing customer base.

Colin Gurney of Brycol will continue in his present role as will all of the business' highly skilled and dedicated staff. Graham Usher, Gray & Adams' Sales Manager for the Southern Area will be relocating his office to the Wilstead site and will be working alongside Colin to help further expand the business.

"I have always recognised Gray & Adams to be a very reputable company with a premium product and the more experience I have had with the company, the more I have come to realise that the synergies within our businesses do not stop at the services that we provide. Gray & Adams as a company operate with honesty and integrity, which are the foundations that I have built my own business on." - Colin Gurney, Managing Director, Brycol

At the end of 2009, Gray & Adams completed a £1.5 million expansion to the repairs facility at the company's headquarters in Fraserburgh, Scotland. This, coupled with further and ongoing expansion across the other Gray & Adams sites and now with the purchase of Brycol, reinforces the company's commitment of continued investment to deliver class leading, value for money products backed by fully comprehensive after-sales service and support.
