Bespoke Designed Game Larder Ardchattan Estate

This deer larder is a perfect example of how Gray & Adams can bespoke design and manufacture a game larder for any purpose and to fit any space. The larder was meticulously designed and constructed to exact dimensions for Ardchattan Estate to fit inside an existing building in order to bring the estate's facilities into line with new legislation.

The larder was constructed using five element GRP panels and incorporates a lightly gritted polyester floor top surface. A single-phase system supplies the refrigeration for the store.

The facility was furnished with a variety of equipment to suit the deer larder purpose, including a wash trough complete with water heater, an insecticutor and a knife steriliser. One continous I-beam meat rail is fitted with eight single-point hooks and a 240v electric meat hoist was also supplied with a 200kg capacity.

The larder incorporates an insulated door for access between the preparation area and the store as well as an exit door to the front to comply with legal requirements.
