First established in 1957 in Fraserburgh Scotland, Gray & Adams remains a privately owned business with four well established manufacturing sites within the UK and Ireland. Through our unwavering commitment to product, service and site development, we remain at the forefront of the industry as the UK’s leading manufacturer of bespoke trailers and vehicles for temperature-controlled and specialised dry freight applications.

We have continually invested in our production sites in Fraserburgh, Dunfermline, Doncaster and Newtownabbey.  Fraserburgh is the company's headquarters and is our dedicated trailer design and manufacturing facility. The other three sites specialise in the design and assembly of bespoke insulated rigid vehicles for a multiplicity of standard and specialist applications - from multi-temperature designs for food applications through to one-off designs for agricultural applications and the transportation of individuals in custody.

Since Gray & Adams Ireland gained BS EN ISO 9001:2000 certification in August 2007, the company now has group-wide accreditation to the standard, giving customers assurance that they will always receive a high quality, consistent product.
