Gray & Adams (Doncaster) Ltd services customers throughout England and is primarily focused on the manufacturing of insulated vehicle bodies for standard and specialist applications, although an increasing amount of trailer bodywork is now being undertaken.

Since commencing operations in 1990, Gray & Adams Doncaster has built-up a strong reputation amongst customers for both the build quality of its new bodies and for the superiority of the repair and refurbishment work which it carries out on all makes and specifications of refrigerated vehicles and trailers, including twin decks. To further support customers, the workshops at Doncaster now operate on a 24-hour basis.

The site now extends to over 5 acres. This includes a substantial 14 bay extension alongside the main production facility to accommodate semi-trailers up to 18m long and which provides additional capacity for the construction of new vehicles and for the carrying out of comprehensive repair and refurbishment work. The site also houses modern, ICI approved paint facilities.

Specifications manufactured by Doncaster include bespoke multi-temperature rigid vehicles and vans and specialist bodies for agricultural and environmental applications.
