Gray & Adams Apprenticeship Programme

 

Each year Gray & Adams (Fraserburgh) develop and support around 40 young people through our apprenticeship scheme and we continue to invest in the development of apprentices as part of our commitment to the next generation of industry talent.

 

At Gray & Adams we understand the importance of nurturing emerging talent and attracting young people to the industry to continue the success of the long-standing business. We want to create opportunities for young people and minimise the risk of potential industry skills gaps. We are committed to encouraging young people to fulfil their potential.

 

Gray & Adams Doncaster, Dunfermline and Belfast all run similar apprenticeship schemes, with the largest group of young people being based at Fraserburgh, Gray and Adams Largest site. Some of the disciplines available include;

 

  • Hydraulic, Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering,
  • Joinery
  • Welding
  • Spray Painting
  • Coach Building

 

We have a well-established team ready to pass on their expertise, many of whom are highly skilled tradespeople, some of which have worked for the business for 40 years or more and they are dedicated to sharing this knowledge as part of our Apprenticeship Scheme. With such a longstanding commitment to the scheme throughout the group, apprentices are seen as the future of the business. The company has several former apprentices who have succeeded in working their way into specialist or senior positions, a testament to the Gray & Adams ethos of developing and supporting our people, throughout their careers.
