27 Apr COVID-19: Reopening statement from our Directors
Gray & Adams facilities at Fraserburgh, Doncaster, Dunfermline and Newtownabbey have been closed since 24 March 2020 as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
As our customer commitment remains a key focus, today we will be re-opening Gray & Adams sites in support of our customers in the food service and pharmaceutical industries, as they work to maintain the integrity of the cold chain and the supply of vital medications during these unprecedented times. Doncaster will re-open today (27 April), with Fraserburgh, Dunfermline & Newtownabbey due to re-open on Monday 4 May.
We are a family business, first and foremost. With the current challenges surrounding COVID-19, our people and their safety remain of utmost importance and all business decisions will be driven with this at the forefront. Our processes and protocols have been reviewed in line with current UK Government guidance on safety, PPE and social distancing to ensure the protection of our people throughout this time. Our staff will be fully briefed and supported on their return to work, to ensure complete compliance and adherence to our new ways of working in the coming days.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our people, customers, partners and suppliers for their continued support during these challenging times. We have always shown resilience, and we will overcome these challenges by working together and with the commitment and ethos our business is renowned for.
Please take care of yourselves, your families, and stay safe.
James & Peter Gray
Joint Managing Directors
