Double ISO accreditation for Gray & Adams

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved not one, but two accreditations from the British Standards Institution (BSI). This is an excellent start to 2019 for our Fraserburgh and Dunfermline teams and is testament to our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.

Our Head Office in Fraserburgh was delighted to have recently attained BSI certification to the environmental standard, ISO 14001:2015, following a stringent process over the last two years to complete all required assessment criteria.

This demonstrates that we operate an Environmental Management System, which complies with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 for the design, manufacture and repair of trailers having refrigerated, insulated or dry freight bodywork (including bodywork for rigid chassis) and the provision of bodywork repair and painting service for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.

In addition to this accreditation, our Dunfermline team achieved the new occupational health and safety management system accreditation, ISO 45001:2018.

This certifies that we operate an Occupational Health and Safety Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 for the production and repair of refrigerated, insulated or dry freight trailers and bodies for rigid chassis vehicles.

Group Managing Directors, James and Peter Gray said,

“It is hugely important to keep striving for better to ensure we keep improving our business in an effort to stay one step ahead of a highly competitive industry. The achievement of these accreditations by our teams in Dunfermline and Fraserburgh illustrates our continued focus on quality and on ensuring we provide best-in-class solutions for our customers.”

Calvin Morrice, Managing Director of Gray & Adams (Dunfermline), said

“We are absolutely delighted to have obtained ISO 45001:2018. Achieving such high standards in Occupational Health and Safety is critical to the success and continued development of our business and to be one of the first organisations in our industry to achieve this is an incredibly proud moment for our team. This new standard engages the workforce in all aspects of Heath and Safety and, because we operate an integrated management system this will roll out to our quality and environmental decisions as well.”
