Gray & Adams supports the Bentley community

With a long-established depot in Doncaster, Gray & Adams is proud to be part of the Bentley and Scawthorpe community. Supporting local initiatives reflects a wider commitment to the areas in which the business operates, shaped by its core values, teamwork, responsibility, and community spirit.

Working closely with local partners, Gray & Adams continues to support projects that bring people together and create lasting benefits for residents. During 2025, the business contributed to a number of activities delivered by the Bentley Area Community Partnership (BACUP), helping the organisation extend its reach across the ward.

Councillor James Church expressed his appreciation for the support, highlighting the difference it has made to community events and initiatives,

“To mark the 80th Anniversary of the end of WWII, poppies were placed across the Bentley Ward, including along Great North Road and the Pipering Lane entrance to Gray & Adams. The generous donation enabled BACUP to reach every area of Bentley, and the tribute was warmly received by the community. The poppies will be used again this year in time for Remembrance Sunday.

Gray & Adams also funded festive activities for local families at the Bentley Park Christmas Fair and lights switch-on. Hundreds of children were thrilled to see the reindeer, and every child received a free book and selection box.

BACUP organises free events throughout the year at Bentley Park, supports community groups with equipment secured through funding bids, and is run by a small but dedicated committee. With over 10,000 residents attending events annually, Gray & Adams’ generosity has made a positive difference to the community during 2025.”

By investing in community-led projects and working in partnership with organisations on the ground, the business aims to help sustain the events, spaces, and experiences that bring Bentley residents together.
